Could you please post a better quality (larger) image? Looks like 3 65's and maybe an 11 and a 10? Just an educated guess without a better scan. I always liked those issues. Thanks for posting them!

Check for grills. If no grills post a better image of the middle and fourth stamp anyway. The first two without grill are 65's. The end stamp is an 11A.

Grills can be tough to see if they were weak or pressed out intentionally or accidentally but if you can't see them neither will we. The middle stamp seems to have enough of a pinkish tinge to it that I would not immediately relegate it to the common #65 pile. It could be one of the 64's. The fourth stamp is 99.999% likely a #26 with very little chance of being a #26A.

thanks sinclair,im obviously new to this, but settled on early us,theres some amazing stamps,
i inherited a few albums years ago, never bothered with them, but it got round that I collected stamps and people kept giving me them, its only now im starting to look at them, its a little confusing finding out what I have as when I identify a stamp, turns out theres varieties etc to deal with, adds to the fun but frustrating,
i have a huge amount of early us,no idea what yet,i just like these

The first detailed scan is interesting to me because it looks as if it's a Washington, DC postmark over a stamp with a portrait of George Washington ... an interesting connection.

The postmark on the second scan also looks a bit unusual.

Sometimes the postmarks can be worth more than the stamp itself to certain collectors, especially on these early US issues.

4th stamp is a Scott #26 distinguishable by the vertical frame line on the right that extends beyond the design, top and bottom, 5th stamp appears to me to be a #11 or possibly a #26 with perforations cut off to resemble a #11. Most likely it is a #11 that was very closely cut to the design.

quigngt, Many poeple erroneously believe the outer framelines on a #26A need to stop at the top and bottom of the design. That is not true and sometimes they go so far past that two framelines are very nearly connected. An additional test is to look at the straightness of the framelines. The lines on a 26 are usually nearly perfectly straight while a 26A almost always has somewhat crooked lines.
