I've been working on a list of Chinese postage issuing entities.
I'm limiting to current People's Republic & the National Republic territory, not when the Qing's Dynasty territory greatest extent in 1840.

For Fun, anyone care to guess on how may entities?

A Clue OK! You are cold!

Entities include name, border, currency & political changes.

Remember Imperial China, Nationalist China, People's Republic of China are the core of course, but don't forget Treaty Ports, Foreign Leases, Foreign colonies, Tibet, Japanese Occupation, National China currency issues of WWII, Manchurian overprints of 1945-47, [which has 299 entities alone that number includes stamp-less covers & unidentified examples], Hong Kong commercial over/under-prints. Not including Per-fins.

Does that help!

I was not saying it was possible, just creating a list.
