Customs do a great job protecting our Borders from all manner of things but sometimes you have to wonder

Isn't it funny how we are all different :)
I reckon that is a cracking cover!
It's perfect postal history, and you have a bonzer customs CDS
to boot!

It's not engineered postal history, it's the real deal
in 100 years that will be a very sought after item.
The only issue I have is the customs tape will probably
lose its adhesion and fall of if not preserved well.

PS the 6/12 is the date received by your post office,
the 98 ? any ideas?

Hey Rod the 98 is my PO Box number

As to the cover have put it in my "modern" keepers even though it is not an area (Argentina) that I collect

the evidence was there all the time

My postmaster fails to do this,
he knows all his people in town and their box number
