Hi J_H-S I can not speak for the USA, but I bought a batch of 40 first day covers from the 1930' to 45" for the equivalent of $35.00 US. And there are some as the same as yours. I suppose it is a case of if you like them. But I bought mine not as an investment, but to collect as I liked some of the designs. Regards Horamakhet
