I am not sure where to post this so I will try here...I have a bit of postal history...a letter (sadly no envelope) written on the letterhead of The National Press Acre (Palestine) July 16,1927 from a fellow selling or trading stamps with someone in the United States..this is what I found interesting "You will have no doubt heard of the earthquake which happened in Palestine this week which was the cause of the death of 500 persons beside the injured. The Dome of the Church of the Holy Sepulchre was made to collapse & the crack of the Greek Church in it so many damage to the Mosque of Omar . About 43 houses fell in ruin..the loss is estimated for over 7 million dollars". I wanted to describe the letter because if I tried to print it on the scanner it would not all fit..especially with my comments...the letterhead itself in English and Arabic takes up one third the page...its really I shame I do not have a cover to go with it !
