This is what I like to invest my time in. Stamps well I read to, but I read mostly books regarding my topics of interest. computing and Modern art and design ( mainly glass and ceramics ).
km41566, I am quite lucky in that I have quite a few old covers from my grandfather and greatgrandfather families. My genealogy research is mostly Maine and New York, and Scotland (yep, I'm half Scot - McGowan on mother's side). Wife does genealogy mostly in North Carolina, Wisconsin and midwest - I think Iowa. When researching a cover, one most always abide by the Genealogy research rules. I also collect bank cash cards, telephone cards, etc. Just about any card that is the size of a visa card, and old checks (e.g., cheques to many of our SCF friends!).
