Unfortunately I'm not a fancy cancel guy but I am a Pictorial enthusiast! That's a OK #113. I know that new ones surface all the time and I just sat and looked at well over a 500 and not one like that one. Maybe someone with more experience/expertise will chime in and solve it? Interesting.

Thanks for the link!...I know this #113 is a little rough...but the cancel is a bit intriguing.
kind of looks like wedges or a cross, but not really. That link sure makes it clear that the designs can get pretty abstract!
thanks again!

I looked this cancel up in Skinner & Eno and in Billig's, but didn't find it-- it looks to me to be like a simple cork cancel inside a circle.

Here is a page from Skinner & Eno-- helps to have these on cover to verify the city/town, I suppose you could call it CR-X 13 from the image here, but I highly doubt it. Seen tons of cork cancels on #65, but I don't think I have one with a cork surrounded by a circle.

Sorry-- I tried! Hope this helped-- Ray

I seen that too but notice the intentional line through the lower left "pie-piece" That's what gives it it's own identity and darned if I I can find it anywhere!
