In June 2010 I viewed and valued a Stamp and Literature collection whilst on a visit to London.
I advised the owner, not only of value, but also on how to dispose of the collection should they wish to do so.

I have been entrusted with that task and it is going to be a very interesting, though arduous task.
I came back from my latest trip to the UK with the stamps, having already sold the books, both through this forum and elsewhere.
I have also a 20-year run of Cinderella Stamp Club Journals [79 copies] which I also managed to bring with me despite their weight.

Now the fun begins.
There is a load of stuff I know very little about and I am asking for your help in this regard.
If I manage to get organized, I will try to add items that belong to a category so I can change the thread title to, say 'REVENUE HELP REQUIRED' or 'COMMONWEALTH HELP REQUIRED'.

Here are a couple to begin with and I thank you in advance for any assistance you can give.
As a reward, when I begin to sell, Auction or trade the collection, I will post much of it here first at very reasonable prices.

A SWA Revenue:

An Official with a 'Late Fee' cancel

and this looks interesting too.

(Rubbing hands together)
Looking forward to seeing all your goodies Lb1

I know how you feel, I have got to a point I cannot handle any more goodies, I have to catalogue thousands in my in-tray.
My dream is to Digitalise all my Australian Stamp Magazines,
I have $2000 put aside for a decent scanner, but it's hard to
get good advice, I keep putting it off.

How you operate in your space is amazing.

I'll help where I can.

LATE FEE
There are others that can possibly do a better job,
but as I see it, an auxilliary marking,
to call for a further fee for postage, to enable
the article to catch rail, or packet timetables
outside normal post office hours.

A page from my Aussie Album
(Late Fee CDS as well)

Cool stuff. I look forward to seeing what you've got as well.

Minor flaw? Probably nothing but the right hand side of the penny red is slightly taller than the left. The bottoms line up, but the frame of H is slightly higher than G.

Is that it?

Oooh oooh oooh!
Other minor flaw possibility. The plate number 148 in the right side stamp (H). There is only half a 1, the top half.

Yes, there is a small quantity of Postal Stationery both mint and used, mostly or maybe even all, GB.

I'll scan some at the weekend.

That King George VI is a German propaganda stamp. Note the Star of David on the top of the crown and the Hammer and Sickle on the rose at left. Adolf was trying to imply that George was affiliated with undesirables. You know the types.

-edit- an unused 3d version of this stamp sold at auction at R. Maresch & Son in Toronto last October for $160 CDN.
