Hi,
I just wanted to post this here for anyone who might be interested in exchanging covers - many of you might already be familiar with Postcrossing (for exchanging postcards) but might not be aware that there is a thriving Stamp forum there as well.

I have been participating in the NCC(Nice Cover Circuit)- for some time now and have found a wonderful group of people to exchange with. Some of the regular members there are from India, Argentina, Czech Republic, Estonia, Thailand, Hong Kong and more.

At this time, more members are needed as most of us have done so many exchanges with each other and new faces always makes it more exciting :)

The host, Lori, does limit new members to one group at a time (until covers are received) to keep down the cheaters.

As well, there are groups there for exchanging used and mint stamps.

The link to the NCC is :http://forum.postcrossing.com/viewt...hp?tid=46383

If you prefer to search it through google you can find it by looking for the Postcrossing Forum and then going to "Postal Information and Stamps" and then the sub link "Stamps." There is no cost to join btw.)

Hi Phil,
at this time I am not aware of any exchanges over there for older covers. If I do come across any reliable sources I will be sure to pass it on :)

Is there a site for exchanging Covers? I just started at postcrossing, in hopes to get some from other countries.

We may have to start something. I was able to find some postcards from the 70's at a second hand store. I picked up a box of plain white envelopes and plan on making one to send to an unknown member here on the board. I just haven't thought of a theme yet.

I belong to postcrossing and have thought before of doing same with covers. I would be interested in discussing how to do so while maintaining fairness.

I am game for exchanging covers... I have tubs of them U.S. and foreign just sitting around...commercial and FDC..if I can find a good fit to swap with..as far as I am concerned value in covers is in the eye of the beholder..would gladly swap what I have for something I could use..in most cases I prefer commercial covers to first days ! We could exchange pictures before swapping so there are no surprizes !
