I have an extemely fragile cover with a St Thomas cancellation on a bisect stamp. I am having trouble identifying the exact stamp. It has "DANSK" on it which I believe is Danish (Denmark) and has a value of 4 cents.. Also the scroll work appears to be Danish. If I remember correctly, St Thomas was a Portugese island. Any help in identifying the exact stamp would be greatly appreciated!

Stamp is Danish West Indies, I'd say probably SC18 1896-1901.

-edit - Listed as 18a, diagonal half used as 2c on cover. I have a 2003 price as $40.00. I'm sure someone has something more current.
