We took a weekend trip last Saturday to Milwaukee WI about 4.5 hours away. We have one more week scheduled off together in Sept for our anniverary the 14th and her b-day the 20th, but no travel plans as of now. I would say that the rising cost of everything contributes to no plans, plus a 2 year old can be tiresome.

Yes, less driving and definately less eating out (even though we probably ate out 2-3 times a month.) I schedule all doctor appointments along with grocery shopping and any other needed trips because we live 30-40 min from a larger grocery shopping area with an Aldi's or Shop-n-Save. We think trips out before we go and ask ourselves--do we want or need to make this trip????

i go out the same - I drive less than I did 5 years ago but I have fairly good transit where I live so its easy to find alternative ways to get around.
