Well after a second surgery to fix something the doc messed up I'm out of the sick house and back at home. To my surprise my wife had my new albums waiting at the bedside for me. I managed to get 10 of the Lighthouse Vero G's and I really like them. They seem to be well constructed and minus a few quirky stitch issues they are really great albums for less than $20 each. I started to get my pages scanned in as I transfer them from album to much better album. There are lots of missing holes in the pages, but I'm working on reorganizing my stock to better find what I have and don't have.

First question though... I know there were several stamps to honor the Girl Scouts and I have a few in my stock cards, but I can't remember all the ones that are available for the USA. Can any of you help with this. My daughter is a Daisy and they are about to start working on their history patch or petal ( something to that extent ) and I thought it would be kind of cool to give each of the girls the stamps on a card to help with the history lesson.

Next. Question... Does anyone know of any discounted paper dealers on the web or brick and mortar. I just ran out of paper that I use in my albums and found some at Office Depot but they were about double what
I normally paid for it. The paper is made by Wausau and it's the " Astroparche Premium Card Stock in Blue. I did find some places on the web but they wanted about $22 a pack of 250 sheets. I was paying about $12.

Thanks for reading everyone and take a look at the pages I uploaded so far. It's a start of my uploads so it's not even remotely close to what I have on page.

Chief

Thanks WT1 I had that, but I thought there were more and was stumped. Maybe I seen some worldwide ones or something and got them confused with the US stamps. I know there is a slew of Boy Scout stamps and post cards worldwide and US.

Thanks Again

Yes, there is a 2012 US "Scouting Stamp" depicting a girl to be issued June 9th, but there has already been controversy over not having it reference "Girl Scouts". In any event, here's the link:

Here's the link for the worldwide Scouting stamps (both boy and girl scouts):

Chief,

Hope your recovery is a rapid one. Another Girl Scout-related stamp is Scott 974, the 3c blue green issued in 1948 to honor Juliette Gordon Low, founder of the Girls Scouts of America. One of the Scott 3182 stamps (Celebrate the Century 1910s) also commemorates the founding of the Boy Scouts in 1910 and the Girl Scouts in 1912.

Steve

I use xpedx for my paper. They're not that much cheaper than Office Depot per pack, but they have a better selection and better prices in bulk.
