I'm always a sucker for anything with "Zippy" (a/k/a Mr. Zip). Besides they are fun to collect. Zippy has come out of retirement again, this time for a "Zip Meets Date" pictorial cancel at Blue Mountain Lake, NY (ZIP 12812) postmarked 1-28-12:
Boy just about hit my home town at Ticonderoga 12883 zip.
The Blue Mountain Lake area has the largest museum for folklore and history of the Adirondacks. I would highly recommend a tour if anyone is every in the area.
