All,

I have a choice for my album on this pair of #761. One has a vertical line down the middle, and one doesn't. Are there pros or cons to either? I'm not sure what the line represents.

Looking to the group for advice (oh yes, this will be a habit out of the gate)

Thanks in advance!

Keep the one with the guideline, definitely. The Scott Specialized Catalog shows the #761 with the vertical guideline has a modest 4% higher value than one without it. Likely a bit more as a block of 4.

Thanks for the reply. First day on the board, and I'm getting so much valuable information!

Looking forward when I can give back.

I agree. The line is better, not because of value to me, but because it has more postal history to it. But, collect what you enjoy.

You could also argue that the block with the vertical line has a wider top margin and a "cleaner" cut at the bottom margin (especially noticeable below the right stamp).

I agree with the others. The top block appears better in all aspects
