I have noticed also, that stamp collectors also appreciate one of the best comedy shows the world has ever witnessed. If you disagree then the long bony thing at the end of my leg may well collect sharply with the soft collection of dangly objects in your trousers. If not Blackadder; then who makes 'you' laugh?

"Death and famine stalk the land like two great stalking things."
As much as I hate to admit it, I'm fond of British humor. My favorites include:
Are you being served? Blackadder Anything Monty Python

Cool Rileysan - our very own messiah Absolutely love Blackadder except the very first series which was a bit hit and miss. Most of the cast have gone on to do big things as have the writers. |

Mine - Fawlty Towers, Black Adder, Yes Minister, Are You Being Served.
Edit: Thank-you Maiden for reminding me re Humphrey & Yes Minister. Then there was the guy who classified butterflies in his attic to get away from his family> He probably collected stamps too but the program name escapes me. |

OK, I've got it together now. Love some Black Adder, but am wild about Fawlty Towers and of course Monty Python. Was listening to their musical cohorts the Bonzo Dog Do Dah Band just this morning. But I also love the new genre of Cockney comedy crime drama such as Guy Ritchie's 'Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels'. I wish my wife had a Cockney accent....but don't tell her. |

P. G. Wodehouse, the greatest comic writer ever to exist. I used to read him exclusively. (I don't watch TV or Movies, clubs etc) |

Yep! There has been some great comedy show. A Good Aussie one in the 60's was called "Auntie Jack".

And even though I am anaspeptic, frasmotic, and even compunctuous, I hope not to have caused you any pericombobulation. |

For years the TV Series that made Quebec laugh was "La Petite Vie" with Môman and Pôpa. |
