I bought this cover, not for the stamp but for the postmark.
there was a card inside as well giving information about the stamp

Very nice cover. I have found a number of the little water bird stamp in kiloware (although I don't remember seeing the boat stamp)

Postmarked at Itako, in Ibaragi Prefecture. (Fortunately, the Japanese text shows the reading of the two characters for Itako. I would never have guessed them in a million years without its help.)

Oh. I saw the collar and leash and thought dog of some sort looking at something in the grass or looking further afield at something.
