Yep I've got a couple of covers from the Big Abe, will look and see what I can spare. Not into the newer carriers as much as the older Essex Class and before them. Lot of the newer carrier covers around and not quite as in demand as those from the WWII carriers and before.

I'll post some more of my collection later, just don't want it to look like I'm hogging the forum. |

LASwabie & Alan
Promise I'll put more of my collection up later, as we all like to show what we have from time to time, just don't want to take up the whole forum with my collection. But right now I've got to get my Legion Finance reports done, had the summer off, but we start up again next week. This is a post i've held for about 18yrs. sure would like to pass it along to someone else, but no body but me is fool enough to take. Keep wondering why I just don't say NO one of these years, guess the only way I'll get out of it, is when I take my Eternal Patrol. |

Sneeky, That's a good looking cover. I even like the stamp used, it was one of my favorites as a kid. Was there a Abraham Lincoln ship before 1989? I do not know anything about naval ships and covers. |

Sneeky - I was stationed on the USS Midway and USS Ranger at one time or another as an Electronics Technician. Do you have any covers from either of them?
I was also stationed on the USS Downes (FF), USS Capadono (FF) and USS Saginaw (LST). |
