Here is a few Navy Day Covers I have in my collection The two covers from 1945 are special, as this was the first day after WWII that U.S. Navy ships were allowed officially to use their names in the cancels.

Here are Three newer Naval Covers for the 100th anniversary of the Great White Fleet of 1908, also note 1908 was the first year the Navy had shipboard Post Offices, thanks to Teddy Roosevelt. |

Okay heres the covers from my old ship that got me into collecting Naval Covers 9 years back. First are some of my favorite Commissioning covers Here are two Christmas covers and a Shakedown Cruise Cover The the last two pages are Real Sailors Mail, Three from the KOrean War Era & Three from the Viet Nam War Era, The VALLEY FORGE served in both these Wars, in fact she was the first U.S. Carrier to luanch aircrat during the Korean War, plus she was the only Aircraft Carrier to do Four Combat tours in the Korean War, earning her 8 Battle Stars. She would goon to earn Nine Battle Stars in the Viet Nam War. |
