Hi,
I started Organizing my Collection in to vareo, showgard
stock sheets. As many of stamps were with mount in StockPage
books. I just put them with the mounts.
Some were not with mounts at present putting in stock sheet
without mount.
Is it beneficial to to put with mount or it is over kill ?
I am going to make my own album pages and Albums of
my collections gradually.

what is your opinion ?

tikithindi

I think it is not necessary. I personally also use vario stock sheets. Great choice! Using mounts and using stock sheets are two different ways of organizing a collection. I think going with the stock sheets will be a great way of preserving your collection! :)

I don't think it is over kill tikithindi, this will just double your chances of keeping your stamps in great condition. I also use stockbooks but I use lighthouse black page.

I would definately use mounts when you come to the stage of putting them on your own album pages.

I will if the stamp is in a mount and if there is a chance it could do it harm by removing it or if it is oddly shaped but otherwise no I just use the Vario stock pages on their own. Hope this helps.

Vario's are great to use but if you are going to transfer the stamps to an album page later then and you plan to use mounts at that time then keep the mounts, if they are OK now and if you are going to use the same type of mounts in the album. Lots of ifs!
