This is very minor and I don't know if it can be helped. When one submits a new avatar, it takes a while to be updated. Again very minor, but it could be improved upon.

It used to be that Admin would get to requests about once a week. If you made the request in the proper forum Maybe its longer now.

No I disagree. Put the shoe on the other foot and think - how much of your personal/families time should be taken/wasted running a FREE site, when, the occasional new member joins, introduce themselves and are never hear from again.

I see the logic waiting to see if new members will post and join in.

Glad you brought this subject up. I asked for my avatar more than three weeks ago - closer to four maybe.

I don't know what the status is on my request??

Edit - Please note!. I just saw another thread asking for all to be patient as it is checked once a month. So, I will wait and see.

Good point finches I hadn't thought of it like that. I don't really mind, but if they wanted suggestions I gave them a very minor one.
