Varieties Of Stamp And Flyspecking...

Hi,

Upon reading this forums and other sites too..
As there are differences in opinion with Errors and Freaks, Oddities.
In general Varieties Include Errors,Freaks and Oddities, most of
time these difference you examine at later time after you have
collected the Item.
I am asking this is as I have made Database near completion
should this be included ? or just to keep some of the fields or notes
area let to jotting down. I felt if it included as
some sort of form layout either check mark or pull up fields.
Varieties would be out of these Issued Specifications of
that particular Stamp Issue by Issuing authority.

e.g. Paper,Design,Printing,Printing Process, Separations,
Perforations,Perforation Types,Gum Type,Gumming,Watermarks,
Sec.marks,Tagging,Cancels,Size,Shape etc. I may be missing some.
what is your opinion?

Any comment will be highly appreciated.

One common term used in the EFO field is 'Complimentary Pairs'.

Some stamps were mis-perfed and had two diffent sizes with 'intact' pairs. I have included a scan from an album I did mny years ago before the computer age, so, please excuse the handwriting. I plan to update my EFO album in the future.

Yes you are right it is variety which may fall either
perforation or Size, missperforation on right side has
caused size difference. Nice Stamp I liked. and Thank you very much.
