I've had these revenue stamps set aside for quite a long time, waiting for an opportunity to determine the perfins. Most are stock transfer stamps, with a couple of documentary stamps. I like doing the research myself, but I don't have access to a comprehensive perfin catalog. (I'm not ready to shell out $88 for The Perfins Club's Catalog of United States Perfins just yet.) I hope a SCF member will indulge me and identify the perfins. Here they are (the images have manipulated so that the perfins will read normally):

AC & Co

AJ & Co

CC & Co

CM & Co

CML & Co

DHS & Co

DW & Co

EAP & Co

G & Co.

GT

H & W

HUC

J & Co

J & D

P & F

R & ... Co

S & Co

T & McK

... & Co
(The first letter could be an E or L, the second letter an F or P, the third letter an H or M.)

Thank you very much for your help.
Cheers, Robert

I was Googling some other info but ran across your post. I also don't have the revenue perfin catalog (yet - hopefully soon I will) but I can at least pass this much along to you for the following 4 that I am sure of

CM
&CO
-Carlisle, Mellick & Co.

EAP
&CO
-E.A. Pierce & Co.

HUC -Harris, Upham & Co.

The bottom one is
EFH
&Co
-E.F. Hutton & Co.

enjoy!

Here are a few more:
AC=Adler Coleman
AJ=Joost and Patrick
CC=Clark Childs
CML=Carl M Loeb
DHS=D H Silberberg
DW=Dean Witter
G=Goodbody
GT=Guarantee Trust
HW=Hornblower Weeks

There is a new catalog of US Revenue Perfins that costs even more than the regular perfins catalog!

klange and chasa,
Thanks for responding to my inquiry. I saw the revenue perfin catalog on The Perfins Club website. I had a bit of sticker shock when I saw the price.
Cheers, Robert

And just a couple more for you:

T&
McK
-Thomson & McKinnon

R&
CO
-Reynolds & Co.

I'll have the rest a little later - I ordered up Vol.1 of the revenue perfin catalog. It's all I needed for my purposes so the price wasn't too bad.

Any idea about a Revenue stamp with the perfin "LFR&Co.", followed by the date on the second line (circa 1932)?

Got the catalog (Vol 1, anyway). This thing is simply a monster.

So, to complete the last ones:

J&
CO
-Josephthal & Co.

J
&
D
-Jacquelin & DeCoppet

P&F-Post & Flagg

S&
Co
-Shields & Co.

Now, back to my 250 or so different ones that I need to I.D. - whew! Someday I'll add them to the website, too.
Kurt

Oh - and the LFR&co is from L.F. Rothschild & Co.

No trouble at all.

Like I said, I hope to get hundreds of these put up on my website later this year. Stay tuned...
