My most recent acquisition, a Scott 64 on cover to South Hadley, MA with target cancel and a Hartford, CT double circle postmark.

Tom, I thought I recognized the cover. I did bid on it, not seriously though. Great find for you for the $140 you paid for it......and I've been known to throw the seller's name around on this board a few times also :)

Ray, I thought I had recognized the seller's name from a prior purchase but it wasn't until reviewing other Scott 64 threads that I realized it was because of your mentioning him on the forum.

What made the cover even more appealing to me was the accompanying PF certificate.

Thanks Bujutsu. It is a shame that in the 150+ years of U.S. postal experience that have been acquired since this cover was mailed that we seem to have lost the capability to produce legible postmarks.
