After not even looked at my collection (accumulation?) in a fair number of years & spending time lurking around here I have decided to see whats going on...my main collection is US, pre 1990, plate blocks, number coils, a large amount of precancels, etc. I also collect German inflation issues & nazi overprints. Early Canada too..

Thanks, It's funny the things you start to remember, most of my US early issues were bought in the '80s, seems like prices have stayed the same?

Hello Billybob, welcome!

Prices may have stayed the same for most common stamps, more or less. The 80's were a boom stime for stamps and ebay and other online auction sites have equalized and dropped prices usually. Good stuff is always worth something compared to bad stuff though. That stayed the same.

Welcome Billybob,
I too just decided to dust off the collection and figure out just what was really there. It is pretty amazing how many pieces there actually are.

I have a monster amount of precancels of all types. My US collection pretty much stops at 1988. I have a lot of plate number coils & line pairs of all types with many duplicates. I found that some of the covers stored in small cardboard boxes are turning brown...
