i divide the old coots into two catagories...the good old coot..in a good way gives generously of his knowledge..when he is gone it will go with him....the other old coots sit in a corner and complain that 5 cents is too much to spend on a stamp...i am afraid their day has come and gone...i wonder why they attend meetings ?????

One more thing...i can remember around 1973 when I was fresh meat..the stamp club was completly different in those days...we had sly old people who would bring in junk to auction to unsuspecting newcomers...thank goodness that gang has gone to their reward...the people we have now are like the folks on SCF..if they can not help you..they won't hurt you either !!
