I was looking through some covers I recently obtained and noticed this pattern from 1899, 1900 Chicago cancels. I have a number 5, 6 and 20. I wonder how many more numbers I can find. does anyone have any?

Yes. I have several flag cancels on postcards--I think they are awesome! It would be another unique way to collect--all the numbers you can come across.
Yours are very nice--I often find ones without the complete flag on it.

Thanks for sharing!

I also wonder if anyone knows what the different numbers represent--different post offices??

Very nice, Rick. U.S. Flag machine cancels are very popular. I think there is a catalogue available that lists all of them. Check with the postmark collectors club.
