Hi folks I have an 1867 Entire Letter with St. Johnsbury VT. Postmark. Since the letter is dated 1867 do I assume this 3 cent Washington is #79, 82, 83, 85 or 85c? Which one is it? Can anyone accurately ID this stamp? Thanks for the help.

It must be 65. Too late for any of the pinks-- it would have to be '61 or very early '62.

October '67, the only grill that was delivered prior to then was August '67, and it was only an "A" grill, which is grilled all over the entire stamp.

Russ, as usual :), is exactly right. Can not be anything other than 65, purely from the date.

Hope this helps.. Ray
