This is a GB postal card I bought at a show about 15 years ago. I was going to post this a couple of months ago when I scanned my Penny Reds etc but forgot this item.
Wow. I love that, especially the cancel. You may have just prompted me to start an Eddystone Light topical collection. The reason I get so jazzed about this is because of a song I heard when I was just a wee kiddo. "The Eddystone Light," is , of course an old traditional English sea chanty. An American folk music group called The Brothers Four recorded it, back in 1960 or '61. My parents bought the "Greatest Hits" album in 1962 which included the song. I have the CD, now, and I still love to listen to that particular song. Go to YouTube and search for Brothers Four Eddystone Light. See if it doesn't make you want to dance a sailor's jig.
