I voted that I collect them. I don't actually have formal albums for them, but makeshift my own that works well enough. The plate blocks are casually collected. Nothing rare. Nothing remarkable. Just colorful, commemoratives and regular issues that I have acquired in the past or even tear off of a sheetlet that I buy today at the post office.
I enjoy collecting them and since they are always worth at least face value, there's nothing to lose in my opinion.
(By the way, has anyone encountered the new 20c George Washington regular issue with Plate No. P22222? I understand this is a new variety that's out there but I haven't come across one yet.)
I don't collect. If it's a se-tenant, I remove the selvege and mount. It's not, selvege comes off, 1 goes in the album and the other three go onto mail.
