Hi all,

Does any one belong to an exchange club based on catalogue values that can be recommended?

How it works:
You receive sheets with stamps (example 20 per sheet)
You keep what you want and subtract it from your balance, and stamps you submit is added to your balance.
Person running the exchange charges a commission like 10 %.

Let me know and thanks in advance.
Hopefully I posted it in the right forum.

Hi nickmang

Check if you can locate a copy of Linn's Stamp News (maybe the library). At the beginning of the classified ads there is a category called "Trading Posthorn". There are not many ads but there are a few.

Entering "swap postage stamps" into Google I found:

I have used the 'allstampsparadise' forum and have a lot of exchange partners. But I do one-is-to-one not catalog based since I don't have the time to calculate catalog values for my exchanges and also since my duplicates are not really sorted and sitting pretty :)

Cheers
Ram

The moderators and certain members at Allstampsparadise do not take kindly to advice or discussion. Be warned when posting on their site.

It is also not a place for an excahnge the likes of nickmang is after. I feel those exchange groups are few and far between.
I belonged to an exchange group when I first came to Israel and it was great fun using catalogue values. It was also a lot of work for the organizer and after a few years it folded.

Of course, the different catalogues come into play because of the huge price differences.

Dude, what's a library?

The current Linn's classifieds are online. For older ones, you'll still have to hit the library.

Hi KirkS

The Linn's advertisements are on line but I believe you have to be a Linn's subscriber to access them. I tried without logging in and it gave me nothing. After logging in the same search gave me what I asked for.
