One artist found a use for 4000 stamps by making a portrait of Queen Elizabeth:

What an interesting way to display stamps! I am missing so many Machins in my collection so this particular post caught my eye!. How long did that take you Stamp Study?
I was just wondering what ways can we display our stamps? So many times the stamps are hidden in albums or envelopes etc. I suppose virtual albums are one way.

Does any one else have interesting ideas on how they display their stamps?

And we thought stamps were just to mail things. Here, they are male and female.
Nice work.

It took a while considering I did not know how many machins I had to use and of which value. I had a friend help me and we learnt a lot if we were to do it again.

My friend will be working on a few other art projects using stamps - I will post up the results.

The cat value is priceless .
