I'm pretty sure this is NOT a precancel, since the town name exceeds the width of the stamp. However, as a post-cancel, I cannot seem to identify the town name that fits the letters shown. Any ideas?

There is a town called Nunda in NY. Its South of Rochester and West of Dansville.

Thanks. I never knew there was a town by that name and it didn't occur to me that there would be a town name with only those five letters.

I found it interesting that when looking up the name on the USPS website, the town's post office is closed on FRIDAYS. I don't recall ever hearing of a post office in the 21st century that is closed on a weekday. (I wonder if they deliver mail to box holders on that day.)
