In the Scott catalog:

TOP
South Africa #90(1942) -- note you have a pair, the catalog listing is for a complete strip of 3

BOTTOM
Mexico #610(1917)

Also, on behalf of Rod222 (and also to keep his post numbers from getting too far ahead of us)...

Please go back to your original post and edit the title to reflect the stamps (e.g., help ID South Africa and Mexico stamps). That will facilitate those who use the search function. Thank you!

Also, I think it's time again for us to again thank Rod for coming up with that very good idea! Thanks, Rod!

Regarding naming conventions, when you (all) name photo files it helps for serchability purposes also to name them with searchable names.

Like mexico-1917-2c or similar or with descriptive terms people would search for like bird, ship, whale, etc. Sometimes when searching on Google it is just as informative to search the images data as well as the links data returned from a search.

Gibbons does list the South African ˝ds as singles (SG 97b, from the look of them), but at the minimum 10p each.

OK, you caught me being my usual lazy self...

Scott also lists them as singles --

#90a for English
#90b for Afrikaans

and yes, they are also at Scott catalog minimum value when as singles.
