Cincinnati Ohio Precancel

Hi guys I dont have any catalogue about precancel I have quite a few precancels.
I would like to hear if you have any info about the cincinatti precancel. Never seen that on before.

I don't have a catalog either, but I do know that was a popular "fancy" precancel back in the day. Here's an example on an auction site where the same precancel type is used on another period stamp:

Hi. There is a handbook on the Pre - 1907 US Precancels and I believe you will find it in there. Rick

This is the PSS L-3 from Cincinnati catalogs 0.20 - rather common. There is a new pre-1907 refence book available from the PSS. Oddly, these postage dues are not included as they are now considered 1911-series dues. Altho some of these are unwatermarked from 1895 - the vast majority are from the later single line watermarked paper.
Here is my collection - I am only lacking the two cent double precancel...
