Some may recall previous discussion on this stamp, purported to be the youngest person ever depicted by name on a US postage stamp:



An interesting "clue" just discovered on the Lost Colony was just announced in this May 3, 2012 news report, so I thought I'd share it for any historians out there who might be interested in these findings:

Wow That's really fascinating stuff! I hope the mystery is solved or at least a reasonable hypothesis on the matter in my lifetime. I have always wondered about that ever since I was a child and learned about it in school. I actually remember researching that word hoping I could gain some further information but of course I came up empty. Thank you for the great information!

Hi to all
As an archaeologist, I say very interesting and feasible theory, but lets wait and see what else turns up.
the settlers probably did move in with the Indians, but unfortunately, until we have documentary or archaeological evidence, the case is still open.
