I heard that public schools are no longer going to teach cursive witting, I wonder if this is really true, being we're in this computer age everyone types e-mails, text messaging each other there is no need to write in script anymore. Kind of sad to see the art of cursive writing disappear.

This is an older article but it points out the dilemma facing educators about whether or not to teach cursive writing to elementary school students. Fortunately, most still do, but it is an art form that may quickly lose momentum, given all of the electronic gadgets out there that will do it for them:

Nice covers Andy1847.

The medial S looks to me also like a squished up capital S (look above it and compare to the capital S) with a shortened s after it, so you actually do have the ss double s, not f.

Cursive writing is a subject you have to choose yourself now in Nova Scotia Schools at least. Sad to me, I enjoy a good calligraphy / hand writing, but with the computer age and printed text being the norm, just because of computers and printers, it is a dying art rather than a missed reality skill.
