Michael, I would like to know how things are going. It has been a little bit, and I sympathize with your plight. However, those of us who made the purchases, shouldn't suffer as well. After expending money we are due the product we purchased. Again I sympathize with your problem, but it is not my problem. I think after another couple of weeks you are going to need to start sending people their stamps.. |

I understand your comment and concern, stampvirgin - and your are correct. For myself, however, I am not at this point concerned. I did not have the merchandise in the past, so to me, what is a few more weeks. LB1, hope you are still sane and making headway. |

Just came in to post and read the latest. It appears Paypal are playing games and have asked for yet another document which is on it's way from the UK and should be here in the next day or so. I am still sane but have to say it has been a time I would like to forget. SV, you are correct, I should not keep buyers waiting, after all it is not their fault and I want to thank everyone again for their patience and understanding. I don't think it could happen on any other forum and that's what makes this place so special and the people in it even more so. My only fear at this time is that Paypal [for reasons only known to themselves] will refuse to open my account and I will have to refund all buyers as the only way to get out of the situation. It seems odd and unfair but this seems to be the only option should Paypal continue to be awkward. I am asking that all those who purchased and have paid to wait just a few more days until the document arrives and Paypal have OK'd it [I hope this will happen, they have assured me it will be OK but the message was automated so it's hard to know].
Once again, my sincerest apologies for this whole episode. I will be adding a little something extra into each envelope as a way of saying 'Thanks'.

You lost out ! My prices are officially 80% lower than ebay and Wensy put together ! Two items from recent lists of mine had items for $22 and $4.00. Identical items on ebay are £99.99 and £25.90 respectively. Mrgggg....you lost out ! |

Not quite on-topic, but...
Once or twice a month, I write a letter to the Attorney General of one of the 50 States, requesting that PayPal be required to register as a Bank, and be required to follow all banking regulations for that State.
They would of course fight this tooth and nail, because then they could no longer railroad the little guy. Plus it would cost them plenty of money, so I encourage any/all of you to do the same. |

Interesting idea. It certainly makes sense, but god forbid our government look after the little guy! My biggest gripe is that I didn't think of it first :) |

Londonbus1, I don't know if you're aware, but I posted a similar thread about my Paypal problems some time ago. You should still be able to find it, and I think you'll find it interesting.
In my case, I was even required to declare that I would not discriminate against any buyers on political or religious grounds. How weird is that?

London, Have you not thought of opening an allpay, NoChex or Neteller account instead. Like ebay paypal has gotten to big, so the smaller outfits are giving better service to try and get a piece of the market. Yuri-YSC. |
