Hi, my name is Lew.

Currently, I collect stamps from the US and Europe, mostly central Europe. From my forum moniker, you can probably guess I like Hungarian stamps.

I started collecting when I was a kid, back in the 70's, probably because my father collected. I lost interest years later and in college gave my collection to my father. He passed away a while back and after 10 years I dug the collection(s) out and started again. Since central Europe was my interest as a kid and we had a lot of Hungarian and US stamps (and because I am of Hungarian/German decent), I started focusing on Hungary, US and central Europe.

That's the basic low-down. So far from what I've seen, this site is great. I hope I can contribute in some small way (eventually).

Lew, welcome to SCF. I agree that this site is really great. Feel free to ask any questions as there are lots of willing and eager members to provide answers. We look forward to seeing some scans of your collection.
