Can anyone tell me exactly what a cinderella is?

The brief explanation:

Quote:
"Virtually anything resembling a postage stamp, but not issued for postal purposes by a government postal administration..."

To further elaborate upon 'cinderella' . . .

When a postal use stamp is considered to be the real thing and most wanted and desired by collectors (although I think this has a great deal due to what is shown in the most available catalogues, produced originally by the people who had tons of cheap postal stamps) then what is left if it is not desirable? Or seems not to be so?

Covered in ashes from cleaning out the cooking fires, not having the seal of approval of government issue? Why Cinderella of course, that beauty hidden away, dazzling it her inner charm and appeal, but missing society's general approval of the time.

A tragic tale of a heart's desire lost only because of a turning away of the eyes from that which is truly beautiful.
