Here is my latest addition to my humble large Banknote collection- enter Scott #164.

I paid a little more than I wanted to for it but, I needed it and it's in great shape so I'm a happy camper!

That would be considered exceptional color for that issue. The traces of a red cancellation (along with the black) usually indicate that it was used on Trans-Atlantic mails.

There are a few that I MUST upgrade due to centering. Also if anyone has a 7¢ Stanton please let me know. I'll either trade or purchase when funds allow but would like at least a 3 margin copy. Either way I would be thrilled.
