I would like to introduce myself. My name is Mia and I am relatively new to stamp collecting. My father was the big collector in our family, but he has passed on now. Since then I have become more interested in stamps. I think he may be "channeling" me. But seriously, I am really beginning to appreciate stamps and can now understand why my Dad loved them so much.

I have several that I would like to post here because I have no idea where to find them in the stamp books. I will be doing that shortly. I hope that is ok. Thanks. Mia

Hello Mia2552, welcome!

Just being around someone you tend to pick up ideas and ways of doing things from that other person. As humans we copy or ape other humans to learn what to do in situations. Just natural.

Anyway, stamps is why we're here so post away. But not here in the Introduce Yourself forum. Start a new topic out in the Main colelcting forum or under a forum heading that seems to fit your stamps. That way you will attract a better response from people who know that area or country or era.

Welcome Mia, I got back into the hobby about 15 years ago when I took my 10 year old son to a local stamp show. We both joined the sponsoring club that year and since then my wife and other son have joined and we all collect. I hope you can find someone to collect with. It really makes the hobby even more enjoyable
