Queensland Two Pence.

Have not been able to trace this particular type.The alphabet"S"in Queensland is broken and the alphabet "LA" is joint.The design on the left side above the alphabet"U"seems diffrent from the one on the right side.Stamps of this design in the net do not have those.Opinions will be much appreciated.Thanks. P.S.Would be very helpfull if the year of issue could be identified,though stated in the net as 1908.Thanks again.

This stamp must be SG 189, from 1887. 2012 cat. value is £1.

Gibbons notes that the plates for these stamps were built up from groups of four electrotypes. Stamp 2 in each group had the L and A of QUEENSLAND joined, so one in every four of these stamps would show that flaw.
