Hey everyone, i'm a bit of a coin collector, but I know nothing about stamps. The only thing that I know is they come in handy when trying to mail a letter to someone! :)

Well I inherited this collection today, and I don't even know where to begin. So I layed them all out.. well most of them anyways, and started snapping pictures. There are a lot of pictures so you might wanna dedicate a few minutes to this post if you are interested!

I'm curious if there is anything of value here? Anything rare? semi rare, or anything of interest. Thanks for looking!

A couple of dollars at a rough guess.
Mostly common stuff I'm afraid.

Hi EnigmaticMindx. Welcome to SCF. There is nothing that hits me as rare or semi rare. Thanks for posting the pictures.

Yeah that's my luck :) It's ok though, at least hopefully some of you enjoyed looking at the pictures. I know that I enjoy looking at coins. :)

I agree with LB1, a few dollars maybe. Most of the stamps are damaged in one way or another, and they are so common that the damaged ones are worthless.

Well said.

I hope these generate an interest in stamps for you. Coin and stamp collector go great together, but stamps are easier to store.

Welcome to SCF!

Do you have kids?
If so, give it to them, and help them build it up,
it is a good start for a young person's collection.
Plus, stamps are much cheaper to collect than coins.

I collect coins, but inherited my father's stamps,
so when money is tight, I build up his collection,
and when money is good, build up my collection.
