I am wondering HungaryForStamps, what exactly you mean by "don't mount the stamps." Most all of the stamps I have are in albums, and they are what I would call "mounted" to the page. What other way is there to keep collections? I am very curious, if this is what you mean. (It's been a long time since I have done any collecting)

Lori, as was already suggested, I meant to say you don't have to mount them in order to sell them and it wouldn't be worth the effort. There is nothing wrong with the collection being mounted already. I just thought you'd mentioned stamps that were loose in boxes or something. Certainly, if you plan to keep the stamps, and start collecting, or you want to preserve/display the stamps, then mount to your heart's delight.

Thanks for all the info everyone. I am starting slowly, but getting started none the less. I plan on going to a stamp club meeting soon, and I think it will be a lot of fun. I found the dates and times in my area from a link someone had posted.
I live in a very small town, and I wasn't sure what would be offered nearby. I was tickled to find two clubs within a 10 mile radius. I am looking forward to it. And, it gets me out of the house for a while!
