I recently acquired a multitude of perfins [2500 or so] and am having trouble identifying one logo, can someone please help?

Are we to assume it is on a US Stamp?

I'd checkout Figure #1 at this link. Looks like the State of Illinois, with the state outline and "I" in the center:
