Hi Everyone,
I would like to start an auction for 49 MINT stamp, all USA, only one does not have the plate number (The Army stamp) but I have no idea where to start or what to do.

I would like opinions, and am guessing that instead of trying to sell all these at once, maybe break them into smaller lots, but I am trying to avoid mailing to many different buyers and having to keep track etc.

I was going to have a start bid at $1.99 for all 49 stamps, payment concealed cash but prefer Paypal and free shipping. I took photos of both front and back, to see that each have the shiny gum on backside.

I've included just a few photos but everyone can see all at this link:

I was thinking about auctioning them off at this site forum, or ebay or wensy? I have hundreds of MINT USA that I want to auction off, old and new.

Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you and here are some of the many photos:

PS.. Please let me know if this is not the place to ask, and if I should post this in a different section here on SCF. Thank you so much.

$2 is about right for an opening bid on the lot. Most 3 cent and all 4 cent stamps are sold for postage most often (at a discount of 50-70% from face value).

My opinion, I think you are spending way too much time to make $5. On a good day, I believe you will get face value as opposed to a discount, but regardless, you're working for something south of 25c per hour, profit-wise.

I'd simply use them on outgoing letters. I have sent out MANY bills with 11 4-cent stamps plus 1 1-cent. The gas and electric and cable companies must be quite perplexed. Or maybe there's a hair-pulling ear-biting fight over my covers, hard to say.

At the very least, if you offer them here, one big lot and be done with it. Good luck.

Well, I won't discount the fun of operating an auction, even if it isn't profitable time-wise.

And needless to say, there are several stamps there I would not use for postage, 1930s, etc. They can be the start of a $10 auction lot, down the line.
