Hi

This is to find out if anyone would use a WINDOWS program to add information to an existing Stamp Image file. I am finishing up a little project now and this would be next.

I already have a simplified version for myself and was wondering if it was worthwhile to upgrade the software to make it more universal.
The program is for WINDOWS only and it places the following identification into a stamp image file. The image file format, however, must be a .JPG or .JPEG as it is the only image file that can accept this info. Once this info is added then placing the mouse over the image file, mouse hover, would display the info.

Added Information:
Data Description Limits or Format
Country The stamp Country 30 characters
Title What the stamp represents 30 characters
ie; Latin name of a flower
Issue Date The issue date in the format MMMMMMMMM DD YYYY
               of Month Day Year
Subject A possible Topical subject, 30 characters
               i;e Flowers
Catalog Name The name of the catalog used, 24 characters
               ie; Scott or Stanley Gibbons
Catalog Number The catalog number 12 characters
Perforation The stamp perforation, vv.vv x hh.hh
               i.e; 12.5 x 14 or 12.5
Size The stamp size as n,nnn.nn x n,nnn.nn
               Width x Height

The limits are governed by the maximum data allowed for a file field.

The only data that is identified by 'name' is:
C: Catalog Name
N: Catalog Number
P: Perforation
S: Size

All text files will allow foreign characters inserted by a customized character map. There would be edit features for adding Catalog Names, Catalog Number prefixes and Subjects. I would also add some sort of search feature.
