Scott #112- re-issue = #123
#133 is listed as soft porous paper, no grill. Brown/Orange |

Only 10,000 of the Scott 123 and 5,000 of the 133 were printed so the odds are that the stamp will turn out a Scott 112 with either a very weak or pressed out grill.
Sometimes dipping the stamp face down in watermark fluid and viewing it from different angles will allow you to see a weak grill. |

I have put up for sale this stamp, with high price tag as #112b just to see whitch way its goes and what interest will be, most likely I have to sent it for autentication and cert, even if it is #133 still M/NH OG still rare. |

Quote: still M/NH OG still rare. I see no gum in the photo and the back is lightly soiled. If it does has gum, it's not original as it is too translucent. Brian |

I wasn't saying it was or wasn't only that if it does indeed lack a grill and the color is correct then it would seem to be a contender. I really frown on discouraging/scorning folks that it ABSOLUTELY CANNOT BE because it most certainly could be. Unless every last one of the 133's are accounted for then there is a chance, albeit a small one but a chance just the same. be...It certainly can until proven otherwise. I just say Good luck! |

I_Love_Stamps - Tanks for a help, I have contacted William Weiss and I think the best option is to sent it for autentication and grade. Any way I am a winner b'cose paid only €70 for it, there is allways chance to find a treasure!! |

Good for you! I wish you well but just know that even though it could be the odds are really stacked against it but you'll never know untill you have a PSE look over it. |

Looking for some reference material/tool, etc., to determine the type of paper being used (candidates) for subject stamps.
Thanks Art (newbie) |
