Ladies and Gentlemen..this is the start of a for now strictly fun topical collection..it may get more serious as I learn the latin names but for now they remain in sets...

Phil:

I'll start saving mushrooms on stamps for you! I'll check with the ATA and see what info I can get for you.

Phil:

I am placing an order with the ATA next week... their checklists are cheap, I'll see what they have.

fun jibes among guys..

Cimarron's link features a page with your stamps and a related collection also from Hungary:
http://www.scmsfungi.org/stamps/hungary.htm

I like this one of yours though:

It reminds of the shape of Nipa Huts.

Quote:
These huts are iconic symbols of What a House Is in the country. They are the most recognized symbol of the concept of bayanihan. The usage of the nipa hut as a device to refer to bayanihan came from the fact that the moving the hut on two large poles requires a lot of people, including the neighbors, thus demonstrating the spirit of bayanihan.
