The 2012 Albuquerque PSS convention is over and it was the best ever IMHO. I found over 5000 (yes thousand) stamps for my various collections. Only 4 new types [these catalog 425$]:

but many denominations of states I collect includning 1360 new Alabamas.
If you collect precancels or are curious you should try to attend the 2013 convention in Chattanouga TN.

Chasa, I do not collect precancels other than the ones on the Transportation Coils ( Bureau Overprints ).
But I will keep this in mind; Chattanooga is next door to me and I want to see you about another one of your ( and mine )
collections: portofreiheitsmarken!
Do you have a date for the show ?

Chasa, do you have a Zumstein Spezialkatalog Schweiz?
On page 1055 is a reference to a book (?) by one Erwin Steinbruechel; " Schweizer Portofreiheitsmarken 1911-1944 ".
Have you ever read this book, or seen it?

I have xeroxed pages 948-958 from the 1992 ZSS that show the numbers, dates, and users - that book is not mentioned and I have never seen one.

I like the Temple City stamp. I looked at my California
collection and I found two from Temple City.

My L1-M matches the one in my `73 PSS catalogue but it`s
different from chasa`s. My stamp has CALIF centred under
CITY.

While on the one chasa posted it`s a bit to the left.
I wonder if it changes row by row or is it a new type
that has been found?

Yes, there are now 4 different but similar mimeograph devices catalogged from Temple City.
Yours is L-1, mine is L-2. The L-2 is the only scarce one. It has the Y directly over the F.

Thanks chasa. I guess Temple City discovered the mimeograph machine.
